Pain Reduction - Return Balance to your Body - Relax & Revive
What is Neuromuscular therapy?
Neuromuscular therapy is a manual therapy with its objective to create balance between the musculo-skeletal system and the nerves system. Neuromuscular therapy is a method of assessing, treating and reducing pain in muscles and also preventing soft tissue dysfunction.
What can it do?
Due to the stresses sustained our muscles adapt resulting sometimes in dysfunction. This dysfunction can result in pain for the person.
A neuromuscular treatment can:
• Reduce pain by deactivate trigger points. Improve blood flow in these areas where there is a lack of blood flow in a muscle, called a trigger point
Note: Trigger points are areas in the muscle where there is an increase in metabolic waste resulting in an increased sensation which refers pain else where in the body.
• Normalize muscles and relax tight muscles.
• Reduce stiffness.
• Increasing range of motion and flexibility.
• Mobilize restricted joints and enhance the function of joints.
• Reduce fibrotic adhesions.
