shoulder discomfort

A lot of clients have come to me over the years with shoulder and neck pain. Some times these problems can occur because of poor postural patterns, repetitive motion or some injury. Either way the muscles around the shoulder area need to be brought into balance.

The protocol I use is one I have learnt from James Waslaski during the Orthopedic Massage and Pain Management seminar. His approach is very simple and effective. Release the short and tight muscles before working on the opposing weak and stretched muscles.

Once balance is brought back to the shoulder area, balance is also restored to the joints in the area relieving joint discomfort.
